The Strata of Customer Value (SGV) is a five stratum, approach to first assess, then create, sustainable customer value that leverage four customer-centric stratum. SGV recognizes that every customer-serving organization and individual within it, at any one moment, has unsatisfied needs and therefore, business pain, or perception of a gap between their current state and desired state. This business pain can be profitably addressed by organizations that build strong, sustainable and positive relationships with their own customers that clearly illustrates the value they can offer from three stratum, position, organization and environment.
